Peanut Butter Applesauce Muffins Recipe
Ingredients:
3/4 c of whole-wheat flour
3/4 c of chunky peanut butter
1/2 c of sugar
2 large eggs
1 & 1/4 c of rolled quick-cooking oats
1/2 c of margarine
1/4 c of milk
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of vanilla
3/4 c of applesauce
1/4 c of toasted wheat-germ
Instructions:
Sift together (baking) soda and flour. Beat margarine and peanut-butter in mixing bowl ’til fluffy. Blend in vanilla and sugar, beat very well. Then add eggs gradually and beat after every addition. Pour milk and applesauce in.
Add dry mixture into peanut-butter mix, then add in wheat germ and oats. Combine well. Scoop into greased muffin cups and bake for 15-20 mins at three hundred degrees Fahrenheit. Allow to cool.
