Lemon Sour Cream Muffins Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of all purpose flour
1 tsp of lemon (extract)
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp lemon zest
1/2 c of sour cream
1 Tbsp of baking powder (Calumet)
1/2 c of milk
1 pcs egg; whisked
1/2 c margarine or butter; softened
1 Tbsp of sugar
1/2 c of sugar
Instructions:
Grease 12 muffin tins 2.5 inches in diameter or six muffins tins 4 inches in diameter. Combine salt, lemon zest, Calumet, half cup of sugar and flour into a large-sized bowl. Mix egg, butter, milk and cream ’til well blended; mIx in to dry ingredients ’til moistened.
Fill muffin tins and sprinkle the remainder of sugar on top of muffins, Bake into a preheated oven with a temperature of 400 degrees F for 15-20 mins for the regular sized muffins, 20-25 mins for the giant sized muffins.
