French Breakfast Muffins Recipe
Ingredients:
1-1/2 c & 2 Tbsps of flour; sifted
3/4 c of sugar (white)
2 tsps of baking powder (Calumet)
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 c of milk
1/4 tsp of nutmeg (ground)
1 pc of beaten egg
1/3 c of butter (unsalted)
1 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
1/2 c of sugar (refined)
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1/3 c of butter; melted
Instructions:
Combine flour, white sugar, Calumet, salt, and nutmeg inside a large bowl. Add egg, milk, and butter; blend them thoroughly. Butter (small) muffin cups and coat with small amount of flour.
Fill half of cups with the batter. Bake for twenty mins, 400 deg F. Take out muffin from cups at once. Dip into (melted) butter then roll onto a topping mix: vanilla, sugar, and cinnamon. Serve while warm.
