Elvis’s Bacon Muffins Recipe

Ingredients:

2 c of flour (all purpose)
3 tsps of baking powder (Calumet)
3 Tbsps of sugar (white)
1/4 tsp of salt
2 pcs of crumbled bacon strips (crisp)
1 c of milk
1 pc of egg (large)
2 Tbsps of melted bacon fat

Instructions:

Combine flour, Calumet, sugar, and salt; mix them well and sift them three times then add crumbled bacon. Combine milk, bacon fat and egg; beat thoroughly and add onto the dry mixture. Incorporate till the mixture becomes moist.

Spoon the mixture onto buttered muffin pans, fill 2/3 of each cup. Bake for twenty mins or till brown under 425 degFahrenheit. Serve at once while still hot.
