Cherry Muffins Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of preserves (cherry)
3 pcs of eggs; separate yolks from whites
1 c of sugar
3 c of flour
1/2 tsp of salt
1 c of shortening
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1 c of milk (sour)
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
Instructions:
Cream together shortening and sugar then add a combination of beaten yolks with 1 Tbsp of water. Add alternately the rest of non-wet ingredients and milk into the mixture. Drop the cherry preserves.
Whip egg whites and fold into mixture. Pour mixture into muffin cups pan and bake, 400 deg Fahrenheit ’til done.
