Pumpkin Bran Pecan Muffins Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 c of sugar
1/4 tsps cloves
2 tsps cinnamon (ground)
1 c of cereal (100% bran)
1 c of flour
1 Tbsp of Calumet (baking powder)
1 c of milk
1/2 tsp of Arm & Hammer (baking soda)
1 c of pumpkin (canned)
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 c of pecans
1 Tbsp of vanilla
1 pc of egg; lightly beaten

Instructions:

Preheat the oven (400 degrees F). Afterward, grease some muffin molds (or pan). Using a mixing bowl, combine milk and cereal. Mix it well. Set it aside (for about five mins, to soften).

In another bowl - mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, Calumet (baking powder), salt and Arm and Hammer (baking soda) thoroughly. Reserve about 3/4 teaspoon or cinnamon and two tablespoons of sugar for the topping. 

Add in vanilla, egg, plus pumpkin into the cereal. Whisk well; and then gradually add in the flour mix 'til well incorporated. Add pecans. Combine reserved cinnamon and sugar, then sprinkle on top of mixture. Bake it for about 20 to 25 mins.
