Almond Poppy Seed Muffins Recipe 2
Ingredients:
1 & 3/4 c of flour
1/2 c of milk
2 pcs of eggs
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 c of sugar
1/2 c of butter
1/2 teaspoon of almond (extract)
1 tablespoon of poppy seeds
Instructions:
Combine baking powder, flour, seeds and salt. Set it aside. Beat sugar, extract and butter together. Add in eggs and whisk well. Alternate adding milk and the dry ingredients. Grease muffin cups and fill each. With some chopped almonds, sprinkle muffins.
Bake in a preheat 350 degree F oven for 24-25 minutes ’til top bounces back when touched. Glaze the muffins, if you like, by mixing 1/4 c of confectioner’s sugar, half teaspoon of almond (extract) and a couple tablespoon of cream.
